About Terri Ann

Terri Ann of Childlike Fascination

Hi, I’m Terri Ann! I’m a contemporary quilter working in technology by day and the light of my sewing machine at night. My mom taught me the basics of sewing at a young age and I’ve made curtains here and there but in October 2011 I found quilting and I’ve been hooked ever since.

I was born & raised in Central Massachusetts, USA where we are all Boston strong. I went to school for interactive media design and have spent the past decade+ in the tech industry as a web devloper, tech lead, architect and all sorts of related roles. More than anything though, I just love tinkering with code; that’s why I founded Quilt Along.net and have built various other web projects over the years.

While I sew crafty items and all sorts of things my heart is in the piecing part of quilting, I’m learning more about the actually quilting itself but I’m totally a topper! (It sounds fresh but I promise it’s not!)

You can see all my finished quilts on the my quilts page. Most of what I’ve learned has come from the Internet and I don’t know too many in-real-life quilters but have found a great community online and am so happy to have them!

When I’m not at work building websites I’m usually at home sewing, or exploring the world around me hiking and learning new things, or maybe I’m out country line dancing.
