I am so excited to let y’all know I’ll be one of the chefs celebrating 7 years of Moda with the Moda Bake Shop’s upcoming quilt along!
It involves a jelly roll (I can hear you “jelly” rolling your eyes from here Michelle) some background fabric and a few choice words…and no, not THOSE words! My Aria jelly roll arrived in the mail this weekend along with the background fabric but don’t worry; you won’t have to wait until the end to see cause with this bake shop event we are sharing the entire process.
Because I’m keeping this wall hanging I chose to use Bella Stone as my background color to coordinate with the quilt on my bed which uses Bella Stone. I really love this neutral color because it doesn’t show dirt and still makes the print colors really pop. The dirty part is probably more important for the bed quilt since the dog sneaks on the bed about 30 minutes before our alarm goes off to give us puppy kisses the instant we show any signs of life.
I’ll be sharing all of my letters and two really neat filler blocks (that I’ve designed special for this project) so be sure to follow the blog on Bloglovin or by the newsletter. Oh and in-progress shots will be on Instagram too, so follow me @terriann there!
Ps. The fabric I’m using in this project was provided by Moda in exchange for participating in this event but as always I only participate in things and with companies I would have worked with even without the freebies. You can read more about my affiliate policy here.
