This star was tricky and required a bit of faith in the author especially when it got the the 1/8 measurements. I’m not great at precise blocks and my 1/4 inch seam often seems to be anything but a 1/4″ but I pushed through and was just giddy with excitement when the block came out not only square but the right size too!
Is there really anything better than piecing a block and have it work out beautifully each step of the way cause you’re not drunk on wine and your concentrating and pressing carefully and paying attention to your seam allowance. Crap did I just write the recipe for perfect blocks?
